If you’re ready to take your career to the next level, Huffman & Carpenter, Inc., a growing wetland regulatory and hydrologic consulting firm in Reno, Nevada has an immediate opening for an experienced professional Biologist/Ecologist PWS with a strong background in the Corps regulatory program.

Additional experience desired will be in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Section 7 consultations for the wetland delineations, mitigation plans, construction monitoring, mitigation monitoring and habitat assessments, revegetation work, threatened and endangered species evaluations, to include plant ecology.

The successful applicant will be a mid-level or higher person with a minimum of three years full time professional experience in wetlands. Previous exposure to the fast pace of the consulting environment would be a plus. GIS and archeological experience is helpful as would strong technical writing skills, and a demonstrated ability to remain organized while maintaining detailed project notes in MS Word and Excel.
