Washoe County, Nevada

Huffman & Carpenter, Inc. authored a grant proposal to obtain Section 604(b) funding for Washoe County. The grant monies were used to plan stream restoration by studying creek bank stability on Steamboat Creek. Approximately 22 miles of Steamboat Creek were classified and ranked for channel stabilization and best management practices were recommended.
